All That Remains Albums Ranked
All That Remains is an American heavy metal band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1998. They have released nine studio albums, a live CD and DVD, and have sold over a million records worldwide. The group currently consists of vocalist Philip Labonte, rhythm guitarist Mike Martin, former Diecast drummer Jason Costa, bassist Aaron Patrick, and lead guitarist Jason Richardson, with Labonte being the last remaining original member. In spite of this, the band’s line-up had remained consistent from the release of 2008’s Overcome until 2015’s The Order of Things, spanning four albums. This line-up changed, however, in September 2015, when long-time bassist Jeanne Sagan left the band, with Patrick taking her place and then again on February 5, 2019, when the band confirmed that Jason Richardson would be joining the band to replace the deceased lead guitarist and original member, Oli Herbert. Here are all of All That Remains albums ranked.

6. For We Are Many (2010)
“”For We Are Many” features many solid tracks that resemble what was created on both “The Fall of Ideals” and “This Darkened Heart” while still having an occasional Alternative sounding track that sounds more like what “Overcome” had to offer. Phil, the band’s lead vocalist, had stated in an interview with OutBurn magazine that the goal of this album was to create a series of tracks that sound like they could have been pulled from any of the previous records, and I think the band accomplished this feat quite well.”
5. Madness (2017)
“Impressive work. This album goes through every aspect of emotion. The sound is amazing, from softer melodic tunes to the heavy hitters, this album is solid gold. Their cover of Garth Brooks – Thunder Rolls is badass. It’s just enough rock to sound good with out going a full 180 from country to rock. This band never disappoints me.”
4. The Order Of Things (2015)
“There is a good combination and mixture of heavy songs, melodic songs, hard rocking songs, and luckily only one ballad that is scores better than any of their previous ballads. The guitar work is impressive as usual but I think the two main things that really have me happy with this record are the vocals and the drums. “

3. Overcome (2008)
“The music presented here is hardcore and riffy whilst still carrying some awesome melodies and progressions. Interestingly enough, my attention was most caught by the frequent key changes in the latter half of the album… Very ear catching!”
2. The Fall Of Ideals (2006)
“Opening blister “This Calling” immediately opens up the flood gates with a loud, throat ripping scream from Philip, along with fast, dominating double bass drum work, and mad head-rushing guitars. There’s also a great catchy melodic sung chorus and a great winding melodic guitar solo as well. Track three “It Dwells in Me” is another highlight that is highlighted by crushing machine gun-like riffing, awesome wailing solos, slamming double bass onslaughts, and nasty, aggressive screaming from Philip. The fifth song “Whispers (I Hear Your)” starts off with a nice, melodic acoustic intro and seconds later they give way to heavier, crushing riffs.”
1. A War You Cannot Win (2012)
“My personal take on the album is that it is quite good. Yes, there’s not as much screaming as usual and it has a few more softer tracks than what is normal for them. BUT! Overall, it is like a breath of fresh air as you get to hear these guys experiment and try something new. By no means does that mean you’ll like it, but I don’t think it deserves all the hate that has been thrown at it.”
