Another Day deliver new single ‘Merry Go Round’ ahead of debut EP release

Rising from London’s underground music scene, Another Day are quickly making waves with their high-energy performances and raw, unfiltered sound. Following the success of their debut single ‘Doghouse Roses’, which received airplay from BBC Radio Kent’s Abbie McCarthy and BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson, the band now return with their latest offering ‘Merry Go Round’.The track arrives just ahead of their highly anticipated debut EP, “Doghouse Roses EP”, set for release on March 21, 2025.

Comprising Louis Hillier (vocals/guitar), Jonte Hillier (bass), Charlie Kish (lead guitar), and Mitch Fuller (drums), Another Day are not just another indie band—their live shows are a chaotic blend of high-energy punk spirit and artistic expression, featuring everything from stage backflips to poetry readings by Astille Doherty (son of Peter Doherty). Their explosive presence has already landed them sold-out shows at Bush Hall, Camden Assembly, and Sebright Arms, a residency at Carl Barât’s Margate venue, and secret sets at Liverpool’s legendary Cavern Club—even earning them a feature in UK Vogue.

‘Merry Go Round’ channels the frenzied energy of The Clash and The Jam, a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows that mirrors the unpredictable journey of being in a band. The track’s sudden shifts in tempo ramp up the excitement before pulling back, only to explode once more into an irresistible “La-da-da” singalong hook.
