15. Straight White Male (Make Happy, 2016)
“Straight White Male” is a hilarious and catchy satirical jab at the problems that a straight white male would have to face in comparison to minorities. Sure, Bo knows that straight white men can deal with many many kinds of problems just as any other minority would, but I prefer to think of it as a sociopolitical spin on the now outdated”
14. Oh, Bo (Words Words Words, 2010)
“The first time I came across Bo Burnham was on Comedy Central, I enjoyed it so much that I spent the next couple of hours on Youtube looking for his material. I watched bits that I just saw, again and again. The young man is simply brilliant. His songs and jokes are not only funny but witty and smart.”
13. Ironic (Words Words Words, 2010)
“His type of humor is very clear; he starts a joke that sounds like it will end in a really cliche way, and then finishes it with something totally unexpected (the prime example being the women are like puzzles line). Ironic is another great example of this.”
12. Men & Women (Words Words Words, 2010)
“What really makes me love this album, above all else, is how goddamn clever he is. I’ve never heard a rapper so insanely good at one-liners. Men & Women is the best example of this, where every line of the song is a really insanely clever one-liner.”

11. I’m Bo, Yo (Bo Burnham, 2009)
“After watching Inside and seeing this I can’t help but be overwhelmed. Like I heard so much of myself in that special. The way he feels about his career now vs here…I just feel so wistful for him as well as who I was at this time of my life as well.”
10. What’s Funny (Words Words Words, 2010)
“He is different that most. He sings his jokes instead of just standing there and delivering one-liners, or long winded rants. But even his melodies are good, there is not one track on this that I did not enjoy.”
9. My Whole Family (Bo Burnham, 2009)
“There are never any regrets when it comes to supporting Bo and his work. He’s smart, funny, and introspective. He asks the questions no one says out loud. He makes smart jokes and makes you take a double take. Pure entertainment.”
8. New Math (Bo Burnham, 2009)
“His material is for adults, both language as well as subject matter, so be warned if you’re prudish and do not like listening to humour about serious subjects. But again, the lyrics, melody, delivery, all brilliant, it proves that when done right one can laugh at pretty much anything.”
7. Nerds (what., 2013)
“He is different that most. He sings his jokes instead of just standing there and delivering one-liners, or long winded rants. But even his melodies are good, there is not one track on this that I did not enjoy. And I recommend this to all comedy fans.”
6. Kill Yourself (Make Happy, 2016)
“It is a song that has a deep emotional foundation masked by many thick layers of comedy. It explains the complexity of life while making you laugh very hard. So much emotion put into a song about Killing Yourself. Awesome Song!”
5. From God’s Perspective (what., 2013)
“Every song has a this beautiful sound to it, while still able to be humorous. Bo is definitely a mastermind when it comes to making this type of music. My favorite track has to be “From God’s Perspective,” because it starts off funny, but as it keeps going, you realize that there is some truth to what he’s saying.”

4. Can’t Handle This (Kanye Rant) (Make Happy, 2016)
“Absolutely belongs at the top. While mildly funny, he disguised himself in plain sight, making a comedic song about his struggles with the audience, while giving them what they want. Truly brilliant.”
3. Are You Happy? (Make Happy, 2016)
“This is a beautiful song that shows Bo’s great songwriting and even voice It’s such a great way to leave the special and it just leaves a huge weight on my heart. The two lines about his mom and dad are pretty soul-crushing and makes me wonder if they are legit or just used for exaggeration (I don’t really know about his relationship with his parents.) I love him exiting the dark room into the bright outdoors into his ordinary life.”
2. Words, Words, Words (Words, Words, Words, 2010)
“It’s really hard to choose a favorite but while a lot of them are about equal the wordplay in this song is awe-inducing…not only is bo my favorite comedian but one of my favorite artists (this is coming from someone who listens to a ton of music from a ton of genres)”
1. Art is Dead (Words, Words, Words, 2010)
“I feel like Bo Burnham did the exact opposite of sell out. Like his early stuff is pretty tacky run-of-the-mill edgy™ comedy which was his way of breaking into the business, but now he’s just like “hey, do you guys want to hear about how celebrities are products manufactured by a capitalistic society preying on the marginalized, also art is dead *funky synth noise*”
