Bollo Bollo return with the thunderous new single ‘Portable Terminal’

After the glowing response to their much-loved EP ‘Say It Twice’ last year, UK outfit Bollo Bollo make their eagerly-awaited return with the thunderous new single ‘Portable Terminal’.

Bringing back more of that raw and driven alt-rock sound they are known for, ‘Portable Terminal’ makes for an incredibly immersive listen. With its bold and blistering hooks layered throughout, they return with one of their more intense efforts to date.

Adding about the new offering, vocalist Brad says, “The overarching theme of this song delves into our increasing dependence on smartphones. While it might come across as a complaint, I’m just as guilty as anyone else. I aimed to shed light on the diverse ways people utilise their phones, exposing the title, “Portable Terminal,” as a reflection of how our phones serve as gateways to the entire world. Which, quite frankly, is terrifying! These devices have gained immense power and utility, rendering many of us reliant on them for work, information, consumption, and navigation. It’s unsettling to witness how the concept of a phone has strayed far from its original purpose of communication, instead distancing people further from the real world”
