8. Love Hurts (1991)
“Completely underrated is this Cher album, it is my absolute favorite, Cher’s voice is incredibly strong and emotive on this album, her version of “Save Up All Your Tears” is fantastic. Also check out “Fires of Eden,” “Could’ve Been You,” and “When Lovers Become Strangers.” 5 Stars for Cher at her absolute rock best!”
7. Dark Lady (1974)
“The #1 hit “Dark Lady” was released earlier in the year as a single without an album. This collection featured two singles: “Train of Thought’ and “I Saw a Man and He Danced With His Wife.” Both songs eventually made it onto Cher’s Greatest Hits collection later that year. (“Dixie Girl” also was on her hits album) “Train of Thought” has Cher singing in an unusually low register (even for her) and with a cool subtle rasp.”
6. The Greatest Hits (1999)
“A fabulous collection with international hits included, you get the UK mix for “I Found Someone,” and “One by One.” The remix for “Dov’e L’Amore” and the rock version of “Bang Bang,” it’s a great quirky collection of her material.”

5. Cher (1971)
“This one of a kind original album spawned the unforgettable title song “Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves” which was Cher’s 1st # 1 solo single! Also prob one of my top 3 most favorite Cher songs ever is here…”The Way of Love” I absolutely love this song and can listen to it over and over, it is timeless and I think the quintessential love song in the sense of a love being over and how much it can hurt.”
4. 3614 Jackson Highway (1969)
“This album is one of the most unique and soulful work she’s ever done her voice is tremendous. It should not be pushed into the faults. Every Cher can should own it. Too bad Sonny stopped her from doing more of these types of songs. Forget audio tune. That’s for the dance clubs. This album is the true voice of Cher. Some of her best work. People go out and get Cher 3614 Jackson highway. You will not be able to stop listening to it. “

3. Cher (1966)
“Bravo, Cher! What a masterpiece! Her voice is brought to velvety consistency by the legendary Muscle Shoals musicians and producers. As it’s not advertised as AAA, I assume there is some digital production. Fortunately, that doesn’t seem to lessen the sound quality. It’s gives off a clean, rich sound. The bonus mono recordings are the cherry on top! This is a must-have for any fan of Cher’s earlier material.”
2. Believe (1988)
“Some persons only think Cher is bad because Cher is widely believed by hardcore music fans as “campy”, mostly due to her public image, with the cosmetic surgery she has done all these years and stuff, but also because her music was always very pop-oriented but in a simplistic way which followed certain trends, not likes, say, Human League, who defined the ’80s by making synth-pop the hottest thing around, and therefore having an identity of their own.”
1. Heart Of Stone (1989)
“This was definitely a step up from “Cher,” I enjoyed more of the tracks than on “Cher,” aside from the obvious hits such as “If I Could Turn Back Time,” you should give “Love On A Rooftop,” “All Because Of You,” and “Kiss to Kiss” a listen. Cher’s vocals are incredibly strong on this album, it’s a must have if you enjoy her Geffen material.”
