Creed Albums Ranked

Creed is an American rock band that formed in 1994 in Tallahassee, Florida. For the majority of its existence, the band consisted of lead vocalist Scott Stapp, guitarist and vocalist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. Creed released two studio albums, My Own Prison in 1997 and Human Clay in 1999 before Marshall left the band in 2000. The band’s third album, Weathered, was released in 2001, with Tremonti handling the bass guitar. Creed disbanded in 2004; Stapp pursued a solo career while Tremonti, Marshall, and Phillips went on to found the band Alter Bridge with Myles Kennedy in 2004.. In 2009, after months of speculation, Creed reunited for a fourth album, Full Circle, and actively toured until 2012. Since then, Creed has been on hiatus while the instrumental members have remained active with Alter Bridge; Stapp has continued his solo career and joined the band Art of Anarchy in 2016. Tremonti also formed his own band, Tremonti, in 2011.. Creed is often recognized as one of the prominent acts of the post-grunge movement that began in the mid-1990s. Becoming popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Creed released three consecutive multi-platinum albums, with their album Human Clay being a certified diamond. Creed has sold over 28 million records in the United States, has sold over 53 million albums worldwide, and was the ninth best-selling artist of the 2000s. Here are all Creed albums ranked.

4.Full Circle (2009)

“Full Circle is as about as sincere and powerful as hard rock gets nowadays. Full Circle is the best of both worlds, my friends. Full Circle is basically Creed post-Alterbridge; they’re more mature musically and thematically, and Stapp, if his lyrics are any indication, seems to have really grown a lot personally. In short, Full Circle is an amazing album.”

3.Weathered (2001)

“Really great album..The album kicks off with two of the heaviest songs that Creed has ever done (no joke): “Bullets” and “Freedom Fighter”. These songs are intense and ominous sounding through and through; when I heard these songs I knew right away that anyone calling these guys a “pop band” was full of it. At the other end of the spectrum are the last three tracks, “Hide”, “Don’t Stop Dancing”, and “Lullaby”. Here, the mood and message is downright uplifting with some acoustic guitar work within the tracks. In between these extremes are a bunch of tracks of varying tempos, including in some cases within the tracks themselves (e.g., the switch from acoustic to electric guitar in the middle of a likely future single “One Last Breath”). The first single, “My Sacrifice”, is pretty representative of a lot of the middle-of the-road tracks. For sure, many if not most of these songs are, in my opinion, masterpieces.”

2.Human Clay (1999)

“Clearly this album is poppier than its predecessor, but it is truly fantastic. For sure “With Arms Wide Open” is one of the best singles of the past decade–a beautiful and moving song. “Higher” is a great hit as well that also rocks. “Are You Ready” and “What If” are quality rock tracks that were also released. “Beautiful” is just that–a beautiful track. The most affecting track of all to me is “Wash Away Those Years”–a hauntingly beautiful song with a sad, emotional message.”

1.My Own Prison (1997)

“I just love Scott Staff’s voice,it’s so deep and gravelly,not like a guy who sings like a chick,thank god!Cool video,too”
