13. The Champion
“Let’s just get this out of the way,ok. Great as a single, Unneccesary as a bonus track. I mean just looking over my tracks on Itunes, you can tell that its like the black sheep of the album. A lone pop song in an album of country. I do really enjoy the song on its own, though. Gets me pumped.”
12. End Up With You
“I’ve read so many other fan reviews that basically equal “this song is such a bop”. I’m sorry but I don’t agree, I find it to be VERY GENERIC. Like anyone could sing it. It lacks what the rest of this album has. Basically, the Carrie spin. It is being listened to but if it lives on long-term on my ipod, then the person who will be the most shocked is me.”
11. Spinning Bottles
“WOW. Cut open my chest and exposed my heart in this soulful ballad with the almost sobbing vocals. Keep hold of the Kleenex you had for The Bullet.”
10. Drinking Alone
“What say about this track? hgtbhhtshsyhsr, comes to mind but I’m pretty sure that that’s not going to translate. A very dark, bluesy song. I just, I can’t. Just listen to it, ok?”

9. Southbound
“Another one where I initially dismissed it but now love it. If you’re looking for a summer bbq/party song, Carrie definitely delivers here. As a country, summer party song it would probably not be seen as anything special if sung by a male singer or a group (ie Lady Antebellum). Carrie dares tread where no female country artist has before and delivers ten fold.”
8. Low
“Low has just GOT TO BE A SINGLE! TODAY! TOMORROW! Even YESTERDAY! It reminded me somewhat of Patsy Cline and the crooning, whaling… A vocal masterpiece. FIRST CLASS!”
7. Cry Pretty
“I know many people will probably say “well why not all 5 stars?” The fact of the matter is that this song came out in May and the 2nd single “Love Wins” just came out recently. There’s been too much time for it to grow stale. I still love it but I do choose to skip it now and again.”
6. Ghosts on the Stereo
“I love how this is signature Carrie. How I can turn off and just jam out to it. Fave lyric: And the neighbors might think its a haunted house but I’ve never felt so alive”

5. Backsliding
“I have to admit that while I initially passed on this as just another “Relapse”. The more I play it, the more I love it. Fave lyric: So why am I, 2 am picking up my phone and your standing in my porchlight. Backsliding.”
4. That Song We Used to Make Love To
“I just can’t get into this song. It has more of a Beyonce/Mariah Carey vibe to it and while Carrie sings amazingly on this track, it has very much the same problem as “Low”-too sad/slow & repetitive.”
3. The Bullet
“I don’t know if anyone else here watches “This Is Us” but if you do…you know that towel you cry into, you’re gonna need to get it out while listening to this song. Let me just start by saying that Carrie doesn’t tell you how to feel about violence (which, I love and deeply respect)-“you can blame it on hate. You can blame it on guns. But mama’s ain’t supposed to bury their sons.”. This song just talks about the ripple effect that it has on people’s lives”
2. Love Wins
“The second single off the album and one of my all time faves. Empowering. Uplifting. Basically, we’re all humans, we all inhabit this planet. Why can’t we all just get along.”
1. Kingdom
“Sounds very personal and glad to see that Carrie is including this kind of song on her new album. Perfectly imperfect….. An intimate look into Carrie’s home life. This is a very uplifting end to the album.”
