Dan + Shay (pronounced as “Dan and Shay”) is an American country duo composed of vocalists and songwriters Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. They are signed to Warner Records Nashville and have released three albums, Where It All Began, Obsessed, and Dan + Shay. Of their nine singles; five have topped the Country Airplay chart and two have topped the Hot Country Songs chart. In addition to their own material, the group’s members have collaborated with Justin Bieber, Rascal Flatts, Lindsey Stirling, RaeLynn, and Kelly Clarkson. From 2019–2021, the duo won three consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the songs “Tequila”, “Speechless”, and “10,000 Hours”. “This album is one of the best country albums of the year (2016) there is not a bad song on the album definitely one you can be played without skipping trust me you will not be disappointed to have it in your collection…. try the first one too called “where it all began”

“Dan and Shay are hands down one of my favorite bands out there. One of my reasons for that is this album. I was interested in some of their songs and then this album came out and I connected musically with a lot of the songs. I like most of the songs on this album which is a win in our music world of singles and hits.”

“Surprisingly enough I love this whole entire cd!! Their voices blend together beautifully, the songs are chill – it makes me want to open my sunroof and drive to the beach. 🙂 Fabulous cd and well worth the money!! It starts off amazingly with “Show You Off” which is really catchy and fun and the cd keeps going strong. I love “19 You + Me” and “I Heard Goodbye” is hauntingly beautiful.”
