10. One Night
“One Night” is a solid rocker to lead off the album that got some airplay. “One Night” is a very good opener and has some great guitar work from Mick Ralphs.”
9. No Smoke Without a Fire
“No Smoke Without A Fire” is a fine rocking song that got a lot of airplay. This album got some decent airplay in the late 1980s on rock stations; understandable, since it fit the sound of the times with that polished, melodic guitar rock sound.”
8. Dangerous Age
“They don’t make bad albums anyway but this period is very special for me in my own life and in seeing this band live on several occasions so all in all the Brian Howe era is very special. Dangerous Age is my favourite track but there are none on here that I don’t like and none that I would class as fillers. I recommend this very strongly.”

7. Rock of America
“Good energy overall, the vocals are very strong, though the music seems to start sounding the same towards the middle. Still a pretty decent album with several good songs”
6. The Way That It Goes
“Brian Howe has a great voice, and guitarist Mick Ralphs plays hard, yet polished, riffs and solos that suit the late-80s pop-metal sound and style without really giving in to its worst excesses.”
5. Love Attack
“We are confronted here with a very in-your-face incarnation of Bad Company that owes more to AC/DC than to the Paul Rodgers era;this album comes as a total surprise-great riffs, smokin’grooves, top notch vocals from Brian Howe”

4. Something About You
“Something About You” is a nice ballad–the only one on the album. Certainly not the best of that genre, but pretty decent. However, it is not at all like the Paul Rodgers-era Bad Company. Brian Howe is now on vocals, and the style is totally different.”
3. Dirty Boy
“One of the most uncomfortable, poorly written songs out there about a schoolboy crush on a teacher. The bluesy riffs and excellent vocal performance in “Dirty Boy” can’t stop me from cringing at the words the whole time.”
2. Shake It Up
“he guitarist, Mick Ralphs, definitely does more for this album than anyone does, with his work really salvaging songs like “Shake It Up,” which is brought to life by the bluesy guitar licks that he inserts in the song”
1. Bad Man
“Lead singer Brian Howe has a great voice, and guitarist Mick Ralphs plays hard, yet polished, riffs and solos that suit the late-80s pop-metal sound and style without really giving in to its worst excesses. The only gripe I have is the cover, which shows a little kid smoking. I bet that kid ended up in a residential school later in life as a result of this cover.”
