14. Radio (True Believers, 2013)
“I really enjoy Rucker’s voice all the way back to Hootie & the Blowfish. This song has a sentimental note for me. I can identify the song’s story of growing up w/ a hand-me-down car where the only good thing was the radio. It may just be me, but the parts during the song where they sing the word “radio” reminds me of an 80’s song.”
13. Straight to Hell (When Was the Last Time, 2017)
“It’s a very good song. First I heard it was the video that caught my eye. Never heard Rucker’s songs before. Love this song, honky-tonk ode to classic country music. Great collaboration by great artists!”
12. Time for Change (Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Mötley Crüe, 2014)
“The song has a great rhythm that makes me want to dance and it reminds me of my youth. I remember being out with friends, having fun, and that moment when your favorite song came on the radio. Pure joy! “
11. Let Her Cry (Cracked Rear View, 1994)
“I’ve heard this song so many times in the background, never bothering to seek it out and listen to it, until just recently and I found out… I actually love this song.”

10. True Believers (True Believers, 2013)
“I’ve been a big Darius Rucker fan for a long time, as I’ve been a big Hootie and the Blowfish fan since the beginning. As a longtime country music fan, nothing could have made me happier than when Darius began making country music. “
9. Homegrown Honey (Southern Style, 2015)
“A fantastic song penned by Darius Rucker, Charles Kelley and Nathan Chapman. It is a good Country song that does not stray to far from other singles released by Rucker since starting his Country career and that is not a bad thing. He continues to write, co-write or select songs that fit perfectly with his voice.”
8. This (Charleston, SC 1966, 2010)
“Darius Rucker’s ‘This’ is a good song with a catchy chorus and one of life’s lessons. He puts all those missed opportunities of life (that really might have been blessings in disguise) into perspective.”
7. For the First Time (When Was the Last Time, 2017)
“I enjoy Darius’ music whether old Hootie and the Blow Fish tunes or his broad country offerings. This album has nice compilations of music. Even my teens listen to it and sing along, which makes it something we can enjoy together in long car rides! “
6. It Won’t Be Like This for Long (Learn to Live, 2008)
“Such a delightful song and so well sung by Darius. I loved it instantly. If you’re in a sad sort of mood to start with, after the song you may need tissues. Still, a lovely song and sentiment. I do recommend it.”
5. Come Back Song (Charleston, SC 1966, 2010)
“To say that Hootie makes a comeback is exaggerated since his last top 10 hit was earlier this year, but he’s keeping it Country with this first single from his upcoming second Country album. Or I should say he’s keeping it Pop-Country, since that’s what he does. A mellow, easy going number, slightly catchy and inoffensive to bounce along with plus his sweet charismatic vocals.. a sure favorite for radioplay that you can’t hate much, even if it’s nothing outstanding.”

4. Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It (Learn to Live, 2008)
“I couldn’t believe it when I heard he was going to do a country album but I have to say I LOVE THIS SONG! To get me to listen to country it has to be a great song and this is one GREAT song. Have always loved Hootie and the Blowfish. I can honestly say that I love his solo country song as well..”
3. If I Told You (When Was the Last Time, 2017)
“Darius is an amazing and talented musician. He can make music that crosses all sectors and demographics. As you grow up listening to Musicians — its kinda like you grow and change with them. Since Darius and I are about the same age, AND as we all know the “flavor of music” slightly shifts as we get older, I’m hoping someday I can hear him with a Chris Botti or the Boston Symphony for a classic sound–especially at Christmas, or duet with Lionel Ritchie or Mary J Blige for a soulful rendezvous, or perhaps a Sting would be awesome. Darius’ dues have been paid to music so he’s definitely in the league with those musicians –musical greatness!!”
2. Alright (Learn to Live, 2008)
“Awesome singer and entertainer. Every song he sings you can tell he’s giving it all to tell you a story. Some make me teary-eyed which isn’t a bad thing either.”
1. Wagon Wheel (True Believers, 2013)
“Darius knocks it out of the park with Wagon Wheel. It’s hard not to be in a good mood after hearing this song. The video is really cool too the way all the people Darius encounters sing along, definitely check it out and purchase this track or album.”
