debdepan unleash feral new single ‘The Girl’ ahead of sophomore EP ‘Lovers & Others’

Margate alt duo debdepan return with their blistering new single ‘The Girl’, the second track from upcoming EP Lovers & Others, out November 26th via Silent Kid Records.

Where comeback track ‘Habit’ brooded in loops of restraint, ‘The Girl’ is all stabbing guitars, distorted vocals, and pressure-cooker synths. Recorded live at Albion Rooms with Jason Stafford, it captures a ferocious, unfiltered intensity, pairing grunge-laced chaos with a dance-punk undercurrent reminiscent of Wet Leg, but far darker.

The track offers another thrilling glimpse into Lovers & Others, an EP shaped by late-night Margate, queerness, love, and self-sabotage, all pulsing through debdepan’s signature sad-girl-but-party-core lens.
