Ded Elk release immersive new single ‘Mirrorball’ from upcoming album ‘We Are Gods’

Basel-based alternative rock band Ded Elk return with ‘Mirrorball’, the second single from their forthcoming album We Are Gods, out November 17. Known for their commanding sound, the trio conjure a swirl of searing guitars, brooding melodies, and hypnotic verses that oscillate between cool detachment and raw intensity.

‘Mirrorball’ explores the emotional dissonance between comfort and chaos, the restless urge to break free when stability begins to feel suffocating. Caught between fulfillment and emptiness, the track shines a light on the fragile contradictions at the heart of modern identity. With vocals channelling echoes of Josh Homme, David Bowie, and Iggy Pop, ‘Mirrorball’ offers something both familiar and defiantly original.

Following the critically acclaimed first single, ‘Mirrorball’ builds anticipation for We Are Gods, a record that examines our fading collective illusions with power, precision, and poignancy.
