8. Hug U (Flower 4 Seasons, 2020)
“At this point, DIA’s drastically different sound, group concepts & group configurations are their signature which isn’t the best thing. I remember them starting as a somewhat soft pop/hip hop mix and it being a big deal they got a major CF pre-debut and it’s like they’ve really tried to be every type of girl group imaginable.”
7. WOOWA (Newtro, 2019)
“I want to like this song so much (and all attempts made by other girl groups to have these disco songs), but they all sound and structured like straightly derived from Bboom Bboom without any new thing IMO.”
6. WooWoo (Summer Ade, 2018)
“WooWoo still gets by on its breezy, summertime rush, but at this point DIA really need a shot of energy to break from what is becoming an increasingly forgettable discography. The girls are clearly up to the task, as their attractive harmonies attest to here, but WooWoo is lacking the kind of surefire hook I was hoping for.”

5. Good Night (Love Generation, 2017)
“Good Night isn’t offensively bad. It’s just incredibly dull and played out. As with so many songs this year, those incessant tropical synth squiggles are omnipresent. I just want to reprogram every device in Korea capable of creating this overused instrumental accent.”
4. Can’t Stop (Love Generation, 2017)
“The melody in the chorus is really interesting and I actually think I like it more than ANY DIA song. The bouncy synths and retro vibe really work well. The pre and post chorus I think work really well too. Its much better constructed than any of their full group singles IMO”

3. Will You Go Out With Me (YOLO, 2017)
“Will You Go‘s sugary chorus is more successful. Though I wish the girls sang in a less affected tone, the breezy melody provides a necessary through-line to an otherwise messy song structure.”
2. Mr. Potter (Spell, 2016)
“The chorus is fine, but it’s also melodically lazy and kills much of the energy the girls manage to establish. It lacks any sense of dynamism, sticking instead with an oddly morose melodic line that’s repeated without any invention or adornment.”
1. On The Road (Happy Ending, 2016)
“This song is awesome!! I love the gfriend vibes, as theyre my favourite girl group, so I’ll definitively be following this group from now on! I hope they release more songs like this! This kind of innocent concept is really rare and i like that after the success of gfriend we’re able to see more of it”
