Domi Hawken shares haunting new EP ‘Water and the Wine’ and striking visual for title-track

London-based dark rock poet Domi Hawken returns with her sophomore EP ‘Water and the Wine’. Following the raw, confessional tone of her debut ‘Sociable Pariah’, the new three-track release expands her sonic palette, balancing grungy climaxes with moments of stark, acoustic vulnerability.

Led by the standout single ‘Water and the Wine’, the EP finds Hawken embracing a more collaborative process with her bandmates Matt Robson, Cyprien Jacquet, and Kobi Pham. The result is a richer, more textured sound that still retains her trademark grit. “This is so much better than what I wanted,” Hawken recalls telling Jacquet, signalling a creative breakthrough.

Accompanied by a crisp, black-and-white video that contrasts her usual VHS aesthetic, ‘Water and the Wine’ captures Hawken’s evolution. Gritty, poetic, and emotionally unfiltered, this EP cements her as a singular voice in the UK alt-rock landscape.
