4. The End Of Nightmare
“There are three songs on this mini album and they’re all, despite on just being an instrumental version of one of the songs. There are two versions of this album, the Instability version and the Stability version. I got the Stability version, which came with a photo book, and four random photo cards.”
3. Dystopia: Road To Utopia
“Odd title, but to get to Utopia you gotta start somewhere. This installment of Dreamcatcher’s Dystopia era continues to show their appeal, by being a K-pop group first, but adding rock elements on a decent amount of their tracks not normally associated with the genre. And I like it; as opposed to the other way around (metal-based act with pop leanings). It helps that the songs are strong enough that they can hold their own without the added guitars, mainly because they would still be catchy, upbeat and even dark at times.”
2. Dystopia: The Tree Of Language
“Dreamcatcher’s rock-inspired sound is certainly an original concept for the K-Pop scene in general. Amidst cute, electro-pop tunes (that have deservedly earned their spot), slower R&B ballads, girl-crush EDM bangers, Red Velvet, and many other styles, hearing songs like Good Night or What might make you feel you’ve stumbled across K-Pop 2.0, or something mislabeled as K-Pop. But make no mistake, even among the metal guitars, crushing synthetic drum production and anime-inspired composition, Dreamcatcher’s members have everything that makes for a successful group: they can dance, they’ve got vocals, they’ve got charisma and they’re overall really talented.”
1. The Beginning Of The End
“Dreamcatcher’s japanese album is totally worth it for us Kpop fans! This is their first full japanese album, and I have been looking forward to it forever. If you love their Korean songs, you have got to listen to them in Japanese.”
