Dreamwave announce new EP ‘Drifter’ with hypnotic single ‘Murmers on the Dunes’

Bristol-based psych-rock outfit Dreamwave return with new single ‘Murmers on the Dunes’, a swirling, immersive cut that signals the next evolution of their sonic world. The track arrives via Stolen Body Records and comes hand-in-hand with the announcement of their forthcoming EP, Drifter, now available for vinyl pre-order.

‘Murmers on the Dunes’ expands the band’s hypnotic sound, drawing on reverb-drenched guitars, driving low-end, and atmospheric textures that simmer and soar. It’s a slow-motion descent into the dreamier corners of their psych-rock palette, proof that Dreamwave’s immersive live energy translates powerfully to record.

The new release follows a string of standout moments on the live circuit: from supporting Frankie and The Witch Fingers at The Garage, to highlight sets at Wild Paths and Down Stokes, and a trio of packed-out shows at Left of the Dial in Rotterdam, including De Doelen and V11.
