Dubinski unleash ferocious new single ‘Feel It’

Rising indie-rock quartet Dubinski return with their adrenaline-charged new single ‘Feel It’, the latest preview of their upcoming sophomore album ‘What Is Your Definition Of Happiness?’, out 7th March.

Originally from North Yorkshire and now based in Edinburgh, Dubinski is made up of brothers Eugene (vocals, guitar), Fergus (lead guitar), Donal (bass), and Eion (drums). On ‘Feel It’, they channel the propulsive energy of early Franz Ferdinand, crafting a sharp, staccato-driven indie banger that clocks in at just over two minutes.

“This song is inspired by the notion that behaviours and thought processes are inherently passed down or learned from watching and experiencing someone wiser than one’s self,” the band explains. “It hints at self-progression and self-discovery—acknowledging a mistake or an experience, learning from it, and growing with it. Finding a positive in something that wasn’t.”

The track’s animated video, created by Luke Toth, is influenced by the classic 1969 film Kes and abstract animation pioneer Len Lye. The visuals reinforce ‘Feel It’’s themes of challenging establishment beliefs through anti-establishment behaviour.
