10. Little Cabin on the Hill

“If you’re an Elvis fan (and even if you’re not), this is a great CD with a lot of tracks that I haven’t heard him sing before. The sweet voice of Elvis…. how can you go wrong with this CD!!”

9. Tomorrow Never Comes

“”Elvis Country” stills stands with the best of the country rock albums to emerge from the late-’60s-mid-’70s heyday of the genre, and it puts the lie to the idea that Elvis did nothing worthwhile in his last decade on Earth (notice I didn’t say “alive”… I kinda dig the Men in Black theory, lol).”

“Like several other great records he made throughout his career, “Elvis Country” has received the ‘Legacy Treatment,’ featuring stunning digitally remastered sound as well as several bonus tracks cut around the same time period.”

5. It’s Your Baby You Rock It

“Coming hot off the wheels of a hugely successful run in Vegas that August, Elvis ventured off to Nashville to cut “Elvis Country,” a semi-concept record that harkened back to his roots at Sun while placing them in a distinctly modern sound. The result was one of his very best records, as well as his last great accomplishment in the studio.”

“Elvis picked tunes that both suited and highlighted his deepened voice – Hank Cochran’s string-filled “Make The World Go Away” is a typically good choice”

3. I Washed My Hands In Muddy Water
