Exo (Korean: 엑소; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean-Chinese boy band based in Seoul that was formed by SM Entertainment in 2011 and debuted in 2012. The group consists of nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun. They are noted for releasing music and performing extensively in Korean, Mandarin, and Japanese. Exo have won numerous awards, including five consecutive Album of the Year awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and two consecutive Artist of the Year awards at the Melon Music Awards, and have performed over 100 concerts across four headlining tours and multiple joint tours. The group ranked as one of the top five most influential celebrities on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list from 2014 to 2018 and have been labeled “Kings of K-pop” and the “biggest boyband in the world” by various media outlets. Outside of music, the group members have endorsed brands such as Nature Republic and Samsung and participate in philanthropic efforts such as Smile For U, an ongoing project by SM Entertainment and UNICEF that began in 2015. “The war is a masterpiece, exo is the best. all the songs are so good, i can’t explain what i feel when i listen the eve, walk on memories or going crazy, their music give me goosembumps, ive been listen all these musics since 2017 and i still loving it”

5. Exodus

“Very enjoyable slice of K-Pop from these guys. It straddles exactly the right balance between 00s pop and R’n’B melodies and 10s production that K-Pop loves to try ever so often, bringing some great vocal harmonies along the way, surprisingly good songstructures and some pretty impressive rap-performances. This is just a really fun, sometimes creative pop-album that kept me thoroughly entertained for its runtime, and sometimes you don’t need much more than that.”

“More dancy than their previous stuff and also lacking a bit of the heart. Has some really good standouts but falls apart in the middle a little bit. Still Monster is one of their best title tracks and 백색소음 (White Noise), 유리어항 (One and Only) and Stronger are legendary B-Sides.”

“K-Pop is a phenomenon that erupted internationally sometime in the early 2010’s, with groups like Exo, Shinee, Bigbang, among many others capturing the heart and soul of many a young adult and teenager. I was probably 20 years old when my friends started getting into these acts and I couldn’t escape this music no matter what I did. The problem was, I didn’t actually dislike what I heard either. Slick boybands performing dance-pop and R&B in the style straight from the early 2000’s, it was catchy as hell and injected nostalgia right in my ears.”

“Wow, where do I start, this album is so full of incredible songs, my personal favourites being “Jekyll” and “Groove”. It’s very rare that an album this good gets released, all the songs are so different yet still fit together to form this absolute masterpiece. Before this album was released I didn’t really listen to Exo much, but after I listened to it thoroughly I started stanning them.”

1. Don’t Mess Up My Tempo 

“EXO’s fandom waited for a little over a year for this comeback and what a comeback it is! There isn’t a single bad track. This is perfect music when you’re taking a road trip. It’s also perfect music for sitting on the couch with a frosty beverage. I love it!”
