exPorter unleash breakup fury on new single ‘Letting Go’
Southern California trio exPorter return today with a blistering new single ‘Letting Go’, a two-minute burst of fuzzed-out catharsis that barrels through heartbreak and into liberation. Out now via maxthedog Records, the track offers a raw and riff-heavy preview of the band’s forthcoming EP ‘New Rubber Girlfriend’, landing August 15th.
Built on gritty guitars, thunderous drums, and a vocal that oscillates between defiance and devastation, ‘Letting Go’ captures that high-voltage moment when pain flips into power. It’s a short, sharp gut-punch of a song, one that screams emotional chaos but refuses to wallow in it.
The single follows last month’s swampy slow-burner ‘Southern Kingsnake’, a blues-soaked rock cut full of hypnotic grooves, sleaze-laced riffs, and roadside temptation. If ‘Southern Kingsnake’ slithered, ‘Letting Go’ sprints, all urgency, no apologies.
