15. The Meaning of Love (Hold Your Fire, 1992)
“Excellent follow up to their debut. It is fairly consistent as far as hair metal/rock goes. Great vocals, nice guitars, consistent song writing.”
14. Sleeping with You (Hold Your Fire, 1992)
“Firehouse can do no wrong. Whether it’s full tilt, hard hitting rock or ballads, they continue to impress me. They’ve been going strong for 25 years and show no signs of slowing down. This is another great song in their endless hit parade!!”
13. Shake & Tumble (FireHouse, 1990)
“Firehouse was one of sleaze metal / hard rock’s Last Hurrahs before grunge took over. Their self-titled 1990 debut is quite a solid release, even though they brought nothing new to the dying genre.”
12. Love is a Dangerous Thing (3, 1995)
“Firehouse really got the sharp end of the stick. They formed in the 80s but didn’t secure a record deal to release their debut album until 1990, when hard rock/hair metal was nearing its end with the introduction of grunge. “

11. No One at All (3, 1995)
“I listened and enjoyed. Sure the production is far from top class. Sure the singer is barely adequate. Sure the melodies which could if better written/performed/produced could have been even more memorable.”
10. Home is Where the Heart Is (FireHouse, 1990)
“This record is simply perfect example of what hair/glam metal (why do they call it metal? it’s just hard rock obviously!) is. Just a bunch of good rocking songs about bright and hedonistic facets of life. “
9. When I Look Into Your Eyes (Hold Your Fire, 1992)
“This is a good hair band love song that is still beloved by many women, and the men that dedicated the song to them on the radio. How every couple should feel about each other. Gives me goose bumps when I listen to it.”
8. Overnight Sensation (FireHouse, 1990)
“Firehouse did it all so exceptionally well, that I can’t complain. There isn’t a bad song to be found on this album. They didn’t need to add anything new when they were so good at playing into the established formula.”
7. Don’t Walk Away (FireHouse, 1990)
“Its music so not much to say I wouldn’t buy it unless I liked it. I definitely enjoy the ability to buy individual songs via mp3 instead of having to waste money buying an entire album.”
6. Here for You (Good Acoustics, 1996)
“Firehouse burst onto the hair band scene in 1990 with an upbeat collection of cuts from their self-titled debut disc. The group peaked early, never able to duplicate the success that followed the release of the tightly arranged melodic rockin’ Firehouse album.”

5. Don’t Treat Me Bad (FireHouse, 1990)
“One of the best songs from them, but they have many. Don’t Treat Me Bad is a fast song, lyrics and background vocals are excellent.”
4. I Live My Life for You (3, 1995)
“My partner and I wanted a sweet 80’s love ballad that hadn’t been ridiculously overplayed for our first dance as husband and wife. And this song was a great choice for us!”
3. Love of a Lifetime (FireHouse, 1990)
“Great melody, unique and powerful yet restrained vocal, and I must mention that one heck of a key-change for the final chorus. Yes it’s a glam metal ballad, but for some reason while obviously there’s basically nothing beneath the pretty surface here, this one strikes me as a touch more mature than most of them (don’t ask me exactly why).”
2. All She Wrote (FireHouse, 1990)
“All She Wrote” was really a great song though – and it set Firehouse apart and showed the world that they could really write a great Glam Metal tune and that they were worthy of the fame they received. “
1. Rock On the Radio (FireHouse, 1990)
“Rock on the Radio” opens the album up with a kick – but unfortunately it doesn’t really sound refreshing, but it’s a good rocker. All in all – if you are a fan of Glam Metal – you should really like this one – especially if you appreciate a little AOR thrown in for good measure.”
