FISHLORD previews debut EP with the woozy new track ‘BROKEN’

Having already turned out a wealth of thunderous delights these last few months, US artist FISHLORD continues his upward ascent with the woozy new single ‘BROKEN’.

Lifted from his forthcoming debut EP ‘YOU LOOK LIKE YOU TREAT YOUR DOGS LIKE PEOPLE’, which is out on the 14th June, ‘BROKEN’ makes for an incredibly dark and progressive return to form. With its dual light and dark atmosphere playing off one another, he returns with one of his most impactful efforts yet.

Speaking about the track, he said, “I believe every educator should be concerned with the fates of young people everywhere, and at that moment, I felt dismayed and helpless at how best to support them. In bringing the song together, I was able to recruit my dear friend, Goodie, for a verse. I’ve always respected the thoughtfulness and care with which they move through the world, and I knew I could count on them for a beautiful and meaningful contribution. Releasing it almost 6 months later, my heart goes out to the young people who are still suffering, and all those educators and students who are trying to advocate for them.”
