Flycatcher release nostalgic and propulsive new single ‘Dissolve’

New Jersey indie-rock outfit Flycatcher return with their latest single ‘Dissolve’, a track that blends anthemic energy with a deep sense of reflection, capturing the relentless drive that has fuelled their journey from basement gigs to bigger stages. Produced by Grammy-nominated engineer Will Yip, the song marks another step forward for the band, whose emo-tinged indie rock has steadily gained momentum since their formation in 2017.

Comprised of vocalist/guitarist Gregory Pease, guitarist Justin VanNiekerk, bassist Jack Delle Cava, and drummer Connor Carmelengo, Flycatcher has spent years honing their sound through DIY touring and grassroots word-of-mouth, cultivating a loyal fanbase drawn to their nostalgic yet forward-facing songwriting.

“Dissolve” reflects on that under-the-radar ascent—the late nights, the miles on the road, and the quiet fear of being stuck in place. It’s about chasing something bigger while wondering if you’ve already outgrown the dream you’re fighting for.
