Forever Factory showcases debut EP with ‘Never Boring’

Toronto-based artist Forever Factory, the solo project of Alexander Zen, has released his latest single ‘Never Boring’, taken from the debut EP Violence Is Everywhere But Not Here, out now.

Built on pulsing drum machines, swirling synths, and loose, live textures, the track leans into a hypnotic, loop-driven sound. Rather than aiming for the dancefloor, ‘Never Boring’ explores a more internal rhythm, capturing the tension between comfort and restlessness.

Lyrically, the song reframes isolation as something indulgent, following a night spent alone where withdrawal and temptation blur together. Repetitive vocal lines reinforce the track’s cyclical feel, creating a sense of fixation that never quite resolves.

Formerly a member of Favours and Invasions, Zen continues to develop a sound that draws from post-punk and synth-driven influences while maintaining a distinctly modern perspective.
