Frankie and the Witch Fingers drop final single ‘Gutter Priestess’ ahead of ‘Trash Classic’
L.A. psych-punk titans Frankie and the Witch Fingers unveil ‘Gutter Priestess’, the last single from their upcoming album ‘Trash Classic’, out June 6 via The Reverberation Appreciation Society and Greenway Records. Eschewing a traditional video, the band has teamed up with FolksPat Media to create a fully-playable browser-based video game inspired by the track, a gritty, retro-drenched dive into their chaotic sonic world.
“‘Gutter Priestess’ felt filthy from the get,” frontman Dylan Sizemore shares. “I was hooked up to Burroughs and his junk-sick energy… romanticizing my own bad decisions and dark thoughts.” The result is a searing mix of jagged riffs, corrupted synths, and barbed grooves, a danceable descent into decay.
As anticipation for ‘Trash Classic’ intensifies, the band’s intimate album release shows in London, NYC, and L.A. have all sold out, with a full global tour to follow.
