Frankie and the Witch Fingers share explosive new single ‘Dead Silence’ ahead of album release shows and world tour
Psychedelic punk innovators Frankie and the Witch Fingers have unleashed ‘Dead Silence’, the latest track from their forthcoming LP ‘Trash Classic’, out June 6 via The Reverberation Appreciation Society and Greenway Records. A frenetic, fuzz-drenched cut, ‘Dead Silence’ arrives with a fittingly intense official video and news of three exclusive album release shows in London (Shacklewell Arms, May 30), New York (Berlin, June 5), and Los Angeles (Permanent Records Roadhouse, June 7).
The track features production and sonic wizardry from Maryam Qudus (Spacemoth), who the band credits with leaving a “haunting” fingerprint on the album. ‘Dead Silence’ even incorporates a field recording of a jet engine from a post-festival flight — a fitting origin for a track that feels like a psych-punk free fall.
