Frankie and the Witch Fingers share explosive new single ‘Total Reset’ ahead of upcoming album ‘Trash Classic’

Los Angeles psych-punk mainstays Frankie and the Witch Fingers have dropped a new taste of their forthcoming album ‘Trash Classic’, due June 6, 2025 via The Reverberation Appreciation Society and Greenway Records. The band’s latest single ‘Total Reset’ lands with a fittingly glitched-out lyric video, previewing the album’s snarling blend of tech-fried paranoia and off-the-rails sonic adventurism.

‘Total Reset’ sees the group at their most chaotic and sardonic yet. Blasting open with synth stabs, razor-edged guitar lines, and breakneck percussion, the track is a full-frontal collision of punk and digital dystopia. It’s part satire, part sci-fi warning shot — the kind of brain-melting punk-freakout that only Frankie and the Witch Fingers could pull off.

“Writing and recording a song can be such a hassle, so we let AI handle it this time,” the band jokes. “It spat out a nice little doomsday ditty: humanity is toast, a lucky few will be spared to reboot civilization. Weirdly enough, the song kind of rips, so maybe we don’t need humans to make things after all.”
