(G)I-DLE Songs Ranked
(G)I-dle (Korean: (여자)아이들; RR: Yeoja Aideul), stylized in all caps, is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018. The group consists of five members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua. Originally a sextet, Soojin left the lineup on August 14, 2021. (G)I-dle debuted on May 2, 2018, with the single “Latata” from their first extended play (EP) I Am. They debuted in Japan under U-Cube with Latata on July 31, 2019. Unlike most K-pop girl groups, (G)I-dle are directly involved in the creation of their music; in particular, Soyeon has helped write and produce a majority of the group’s songs, and Minnie and Yuqi have also co-written numerous album tracks. Dubbed “monster rookies” of 2018, (G)I-dle have since been considered one of the most successful South Korean girl groups from outside of the “big three” record labels. “I know A LOT of people don’t like What’s in Your House, but for those who DO, y’all are the epitome of taste. you’ll beat natural selection while the others die off. you WILL live a long and fulfilled life. thank you for your great contribution to this earth”
9. DON’T TEXT ME (I Am, 2018)
“Don’t text me is probably my fav song off “I am” and it’s the song with one of the best Soyeon flows ever AND the song that gave Shuhua the most lines during their debut. Iconic song imo. Wish it had more love so we could hear it live”
8. MAZE (I Am, 2018)

7. Oh My God (Yummy Pop, 2021)
“Okay, so when I first listened this song, I was really surprised. They all had such powerful vocals, and Soyeon is an amazing rapper. So I was super surprised that some people didn’t like it. But it’s just their taste, but still, THIS SONG SLAPS.”
6. $$$ (I Am, 2018)
“When I first listened to this, I was so confused because of the sudden transition of the rap of Soyeon to Miyeon’s line. But don’t get me wrong, I love this song. The duality in this song is insane.”
5. Blow Your Mind (I Made, 2019)
“I think part of what makes kpop so addicting is videos like these where the band mates always look like they’re having the time of their lives with their friends. It’s beautiful to watch people be so close and have fun together, whether or not u experience that in real life with ur friends it’s just so nice to see people genuinely having fun with one another.”

4. Uh-Oh (Oh My God, 2019)
“This concept is so unique. No girlgroups are doing hip hop songs because it’s not trendy for them. But here we have Idle slaying it. The lyrics is just on point! As always, you did a great job writing the lyrics our Queen Soyeon!”
3. LATATA (I Am, 2018)
“This is one of the best debuts ever. All thanks to our multi-talented soyeon. I can’t believe she wrote, composed and choreographed this song all by herself. She is the definition of an all rounded idol. I’m so proud of all her hard work”
2. Hann (Alone) (Latata, 2019)
“Using Minnie’s whisteling is such a clever thing. I love all of their creativity blending into their songs. They are musical geniuses. Hann is still an amazing song as all of them are”
1. Senorita (I Made, 2019)
“In turn all of the members have unique sounds and styles to each of them and the fact that they complement each other and it doesn’t sound force just makes this group even more amazing. A group full of talented woman who are going to rock the world regardless whether that will be now or later. But they will leave their mark on the industry.”
