Gnarls Barkley Albums Ranked
Gnarls Barkley is an American soul duo, composed of singer-songwriter CeeLo Green and producer Danger Mouse. They released their debut studio album, St. Elsewhere, in 2006. It contained their hit single “Crazy”, which peaked at number two on the US Hot 100 and topped the UK Singles Chart. It was nominated at the 2007 Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and was platinum certified for shipping over 1,000,000 records. St. Elsewhere also received a nomination for Album of the Year. The Odd Couple, their second studio album, was scheduled for release in April 2008, but due to a leak of their album over the internet, they decided to release it early. The album in its entirety received good reviews, but it did not have as much commercial success as its first album. Here are all of Gnarls Barkley albums ranked.

3. Who’s Gonna Save My Soul (2008)
“Unique voice and style of Gnarls Barkley at the precise moment for underscoring a moral dilemma in final scenes of Breaking Bad season one was so well done. His music communicates. It connects individual life experiences of listener to the story tellers message. Gnarls Barkley rocks baby!”
2.The Odd Couple (2008)
“Gnarls Barkley return with their aptly titled sophomore album “The odd couple”, delivering more of the same stuff that was on their smash hit Grammy winning platinum debut. It is filled with the same kooky, psychedelic funk/pop, with lyrics touching on paranoia, mental anguish, and other dark aspects of human nature. While it may not contain another “Crazy”, all 13 tracks are brilliant, from opening, sunny “Charity case” (with brief bursts of lovely harmonies), to the morose piano tinkled lament “Who’s gonna save my soul”.
1. St. Elsewhere (2006)
“This is one of two albums that Cee Lo Green made under the name Gnarls Barkley. The music is generally gospel in style, but there are attributes of other genres like rap, electronic, and jazz mixed in. The theme of the album is generally silly, and on the surface suggests a fun, wild party, but if you listen to the lyrics closely, there are serious, dark, and sad elements mixed in. I would say the best songs are Crazy, Gone Daddy Gone, and Smiley Faces, but all of the songs are pretty good. There aren’t any duds on here.”
