HalfCutLemon share new single ‘Ointment’ ahead of album ‘This Ain’t Real’

Danish alternative rock outfit HalfCutLemon return with their powerful new single ‘Ointment’, the latest glimpse into their upcoming album ‘This Ain’t Real’. Blending punk-fuelled urgency with cinematic melancholy, the track explores the insecurities of youth and the masks we wear to shield our vulnerability, from faith and fashion to identity itself.

Produced by legendary Metallica producer Flemming Rasmussen at Sweet Silence Studio, ‘Ointment’ captures the band’s signature fusion of post-punk grit and emotional depth. It also features a standout collaboration with Danish underground legend Peter Peter (Sort Sol, Bleeder), who provides raw second vocals, while acclaimed composer Peter Kyed (Valhalla Rising) adds cello and strings to the song’s arresting emotional core.
