Helicon & Al Lover announce collaborative album ‘Arise’, share explosive title track

Glasgow psych-rock heavyweights Helicon have teamed up with LA-based producer and sonic alchemist Al Lover for a bold new collaborative album titled Arise, due February 13th, 2026 via Fuzz Club. The announcement lands today alongside the release of the album’s mesmerising lead single and title track, a hypnotic, genre-bending anthem designed to stir hearts and rattle speakers.

Built on a transatlantic exchange of demos and refined in Glasgow’s Castle of Doom Studios with legendary producer Tony Doogan (Mogwai, The Jesus & Mary Chain), Arise melds Helicon’s swirling guitar psych with Al Lover’s kaleidoscopic electronics and dub-soaked textures. The result is expansive, immersive, and defiantly forward-looking.
