Highlight (Korean: 하이라이트) is a South Korean boy band formerly known as Beast (Korean: 비스트). The band consists of four members: Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon. Originally a six-piece band, Jang Hyun-seung departed from the group in April 2016, and Yong Jun-hyung departed in March 2019. In late 2016, the group moved labels from Cube Entertainment to Around Us Entertainment and subsequently changed their name to Highlight in 2017. Beast initially received attention for the lack of industry success previously experienced by its members, with media outlets referring to them as a “recycled group”. However, the group has achieved significant commercial success and critical accolades and is one of the most awarded groups of all time at the Golden Disc Awards, the Seoul Music Awards, and the Melon Music Awards. “My favorite song on this mini album is probably “it’s still beautiful”. That song is beautiful. But the other songs sound really good too. I’m sure the title track is gonna bring in at least a few new fans.”

“Caught the MV of ‘Not The End’ by chance on Melon / Channel One, Singapore last Sunday morning. Immediately reviewed, liked and downloaded the song via Spotify.
Just had time to check out The Blowing and have now downloaded the album. Like the songs, the singing and the sound. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more songs and more MVs.”

“This mini-album sounds truly promising. Every song has a different charm on its own with their style. The whole album is on fire!!! I don’t think I can decide on a favorite yet because all of the songs sound super good!”

1. Daydream

“This album could’ve been much better, but it was still pretty neat. The vocals were mostly great, but the rapping was kind of annoying. The beats were also pretty annoying and generic. I loved, liked, and disliked some songs. The closer, All My Life was like incredible and easily my favorite, and Lovely Day and Nightfall were definitely some other favorites, while Play, Whatever, and Seven Wonders were my least favorites. I feel like the singers of this band have so much more talent than they use, but it was wasted on this, so oh well”
