Hot Fiends summon chaos with blistering new single ‘GUNK’

Brighton/South Coast hardcore miscreants Hot Fiends are back with ‘GUNK’, a gnarled, unrelenting blast of punk fury. Following last year’s cult EP Cult Supreme, the band double down on their signature mix of frenzied riffs, 80s hardcore bite, and graph-paper absurdism.

“GUNK is about summoning oozes and being terrified of what happens,” the band explain. “We were inspired by old AD&D imagery and the kind of graph paper madness that made fantasy feel dangerous and weird.”

Equal parts chaotic and cartoonish, ‘GUNK’ sets the tone for a slate of releases to come, as Hot Fiends continue to stake their claim as the UK underground’s most unpredictable new voice. Catch them live on the South Coast and beyond as they unleash the gunk across 2025.
