Jason Joel Desrouleaux (born September 21, 1989), better known by his stage name Jason Derulo, is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Since the start of his solo recording career in 2009, Derulo has sold over 30 million singles and has achieved eleven Platinum singles including “Wiggle”, “Talk Dirty”, “Want to Want Me”, “Trumpets”, “It Girl”, “In My Head”, “Ridin’ Solo”, and “Whatcha Say”. In June 2020, Derulo released the single “Savage Love (Lax – Siren Beat)” alongside beat producer Jawsh 685. The song went viral on TikTok and was later remixed by BTS, wherein the remix reached number one in the US, becoming Derulo’s second chart-topper in the region. In November 2020, Derulo released another single entitled “Love Not War (The Tampa Beat)” featuring New Caledonian beat producer Nuka. It was inspired by the latter’s SoundCloud track known as “The Tampa Beat” which was earlier released in 2018, with it being used in over 23 million TikTok videos. “Love. Love. Love Jason Derulo. The music is perfect for dancing, and the lyrics make me laugh. It’s got some explicit language, but I knew that before I bought so it doesn’t bother me. Wiggle Wiggle is amazing. Talk Dirty and Vertigo are my second and third favorite. A strong album all around.”

“I normally only listen to country music but I’ve always loved Jason’s music. This cd is so good and well worth the money it has all his best well known songs. I like that its unedited and sounds much better then when you hear them on the radio. Definitely a must have for your cd collection if you like his music!”

“I’ve always wanted to get Jason Derulo’s debut album ever since it came out, but I never got around to doing that. I’m quite happy that I did in the end. There are so many songs that bring back memories of my old friends, school and family, etc. I didn’t give it the full 5 stars as I think, there are a few irrelevant tracks in the album, for example the French version of “Watcha Say”, as there is already the original and the acoustic version.”

2. Future History, 2011

“This is one of my favorite albums of all time!!! I love every track, but “Be careful”, “Givin’ Up”, “It girl” and “Fight for you” are my favorite tracks. Most tracks are fast, which makes this album very appropriate to play when you’re feeling down. I don’t need an excuse to play this album, trust me when I say it is even better than his first one. I’ll remember this album forever, so as far as I’m concerned Jason Derulo has succeeded in making future history.”
