20. Hummingbird Heartbeat (Teenage Dream, 2010)

“It is a song that is so fun and you can not get tired of it, plus, the idea of the song in my opinion is genius, and the rhythm and beat is perfect from the calm bit at the start, and then the high, upbeat rhythm throughout the rest of the song, this will always be my favorite Katy Perry song!”

19. Circle the Drain (Teenage Dream, 2010)

18. Peacock (Teenage Dream, 2010)

“This song is catchy, but my friend and I would sing it as seven-year-olds not knowing the real meaning. I found out what it was recently and it was not pretty. Turns out it wasn’t about a bird…”

“I love the song and it’s a solid hit as most all her songs are. This is a unique song with catchy lyrics and a great beat. It is a new side of Katy Perry’s music I haven’t seen. It’s still pop music, but very different than her usual stuff.”

15. Waking Up in Vegas (One of the Boys, 2008)

“You may laugh at this, but truly nothing compares to the feeling you get when you wake up in Vegas. It’s a magical place. I love everything about it: the glamour, the filth, the care free spirit, and the whole experience. Even taking the back roads had glory. You don’t know the beauty in the smallest things, until you’re there. This song captures every bit of it, and is very relatable.”

2. E.T. (Teenage Dream, 2010)

“This is by far one of her best songs ever, if not her best. Definitely one of my favorites, this is the song that officially got me hooked on Katy Perry music. (Even though I liked all her songs before, this one really drew my attention and made me become a huge fan of hers) I LOVE THIS SONG!”

1. Firework (Teenage Dream, 2010)

“This song most cheerful song I have ever heard. It makes a person full of inspiration no matter how much pain he is in. This song must be kept in the first. It tells us that our life is full of struggles and sometimes we lose in the long run thus we consider our self worthless and lose our hopes but we should not, we should understand our importance in this world. We can do many things which others cannot expect from us. So we should not underestimate ourselves and also not let others underestimate us.”
