11. Bitter Pill
“His best in forever probably. His voice is fantastic and is still special and unique. I was never a big Idol fan back in his hay day but I have to admit I am very impressed by this album.”
10. Save Me Now
“What can I say? This is Billy Idol doing what he has always done. Putting out consistently good music. This one shows us a more mature, reflective Billy, all while delivering the pulse-pounding music me love about him. Highly recommended!”
9. Postcards From the Past
“Some of the songs also amuse old fans with references to his old hits, and in particular “Postcards from the past” is entirely built on references to the past (thus the title). This is also something 9 out of 10 faded artists would want to try, but Billy Idol actually more than pulls it off, he really aced this song!”

8. Eyes Wide Shut
“After almost a decade of absence, Mr. Idol returns with a superb new cd. Don’t expect all songsto be like Rebel Yell or White Wedding. Instead, Billy seems to have mellowed somewhat but still offers up a great sounding compilation of tunes. Along with Steve Stevens on guitar, this duo really has put together a great selection of songs.”
7. Nothing to Fear
“Most of the rest of the songs are tamer but are well done. Upon first listen I was hooked. Idol & Stevens sprinkle in bits & pieces of past Idol hits with an occasional Idol snarl or a Steve Stevens rip of the strings. I really enjoy Stevens work on this disc and hope you will, too.”
6. Whiskey and Pills
“Then you get hit with Whiskey and Pills and it was like I was mainlining crank!!! I was up thrashing around, a true call back to thrash/punk!!! Loved it!!! We were also treated to some samples of the guitar intro to White Wedding! “
5. Love and Glory
“This is not Idol trying to recapture his best selling days. This is Idol ceding control to some producers and with a good result. Lost is much of Stevens guitar work that I loved, but the album still works and still begs for replay.”

4. Ghosts in My Guitar
“I’m sure Billy could care less of any negative reviews, he doesn’t make music for naysayers, he makes it for the people that will appreciate his history, his craftsmanship and Mr. Steven’s PERFECT guitar playing. This album is just as good as Devils Playground or any previous from the 80’s and 90’s.”
3. Kings & Queens of the Underground
“. I love the nostalgia of “Kings and Queens..” and all the songs stay true to the creativity of the artists. They are familiar yet new, and delivering some high quality rock and roll to masses. Worthy of many spins and definitively 5 stars in ear candy.”
2. One Breath Away
“This is an excellent record …Well done Billy and Steve!!!! I first found about the new songs from the Guitar Center show and when I listened to the record, I was hooked !!!!! It brougth me back to my teenage years back in the 80’s when records where well made and you could listen to the entire record and all songs are good !!! “
1. Can’t Break Me Down
“I heard the first single, “Can’t Break Me Down” on the radio and was immediately blown away! I would catch it a couple times more, but I couldn’t get enough. So, I bought this CD and it’s been on repeat in my car (where I think he sounds best) ever since. You can hear all the nuances of the music and his VOICE, which is still as rich, haunting, and sexy as ever. “
