L.O.E share stirring new single ‘After All Is Said & Done’ ahead of upcoming EP

UK-based post-rock quartet L.O.E (Last of Eden) unveil their new single ‘After All Is Said & Done’, offering a glimpse into their forthcoming EP ‘I Was Not Magnificent’, set for release on May 23. The release follows the band’s standout Celestial Diadem Weekender show in London and a landmark performance at the Post.In.Paris festival—marking their first appearance outside the UK.

Drawing from personal battles and a steadfast commitment to resilience, ‘After All Is Said & Done’ is a sweeping meditation on healing, uncertainty, and the rediscovery of hope. The track features a voice sample from famed philosopher Alan Watts, whose words offer both philosophical grounding and emotional clarity.

“His voice serves as a guide through the song,” the band explains. “It’s a call to action—a reminder that no matter the difficulties we face, we still have the power to shape our future.”

Sonically, the single mirrors the inner journey it describes—shifting from quiet, introspective moments to expansive, uplifting crescendos. It’s a reflection on how dreams can survive hardship, and how growth often emerges through vulnerability.

“At its core, the song is about rediscovering our ability to dream,” they add. “It’s not about perfection. It’s about the journey, the growth, and the courage to keep going.”
