Lady A Songs Ranked
Lady A (formerly known as Lady Antebellum) is an American country music group formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. The group is composed of Hillary Scott (lead and background vocals), Charles Kelley (lead and background vocals, guitar), and Dave Haywood (background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin). Scott is the daughter of country music singer Linda Davis, and Kelley is the brother of pop singer Josh Kelley. The band abbreviated the name to “Lady A” in June 2020 amid the George Floyd protests in an attempt to blunt the name’s associations with slavery and the Antebellum South, inadvertently causing a dispute with Black gospel singer Anita White, who had already been using that same name for more than 20 years. Lady Antebellum also scored “Best Country Album” at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. By August 2013, the group had sold more than 12.5 million digital singles and 10 million albums in the United States. Here are all of Lady Antebellum songs ranked.

“Fantastic song! This was the 1st introduction to this group in this song. The horn section just adds a brassy class to this country funk sound! I must delve into if the brass section is a permanent part of the band/group.”

18. We Owned the Night (Own the Night, 2011)

17. Our Kind of Love (iTunes Session, 2010)
“Lady Antebellum is, needless to say, pretty amazing! Ever since their first album they ruled the country charts and have even made their way onto the ipods of “i don’t do country” music lovers. Their latest fun single is just the same. Whether you’re a die hard county music fan, or a skeptic, you’re bound to love this song from the first fun and poppy piano notes to the sing along chorus. This is the best example of just a fun, lazy summer song for a sunny drive or a summer party. It’s catchy and still showcases Lady Antebellum’s amazing talent with voice, lyrics, and music. You wont be able to get enough of this song! So country fan or not, give this one a listen”

7. Dancin’ Away with My Heart (Own the Night, 2011)
“I heard this song for the first time days after my mother passed away. My father and mother had been married for 47 years. They had been high school sweethearts and had attended their prom together. In the days after my moms death my father had shared with me how even as they had aged he always still thought of them as the teens they were when they first fell in love. For me this song will always represent their love for one another. And how my father will miss her til their together again. Lyrically the song is brilliant. This is Lady Antebellums signature harmonizing at its best. “

“I just love this song by this band. This song is about a woman and her friends know she is hurting. So they tell her to go out with them and just forget her pain. So she does just to forget him and drinks and dances and has fun. She watches the disco ball on the dance floor and a man asks her to dance and she does but she don’t let it get to far so she will let him down easy that she is just there to have fun nothing more.”
