Leatherette share new single ‘Cold Hands’ ahead of third album ‘Ritmo Lento’
Bologna art-punks Leatherette return with new single ‘Cold Hands’, a stark and stirring preview of their upcoming album Ritmo Lento, out 28th November via Bronson Recordings.
Blending shoegaze textures with skeletal guitar lines and a hypnotic toy flute motif, ‘Cold Hands’ captures fragility in motion, at once sparse and dynamic, light and melancholic. It reflects on the fading clarity of a relationship and the emotional vacuum left behind when habit no longer sustains connection.
The single follows ‘Lovers Drifters Foreigners’ and ‘Hey There’, and marks a shift toward slower, more introspective terrain. As the band explains, Ritmo Lento is about switching off autopilot, embracing contradiction and emotional honesty.
