10. One (Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, 2019)
“To me this isn’t a breakup song. I view it as the vocalist is thanking the girls ex partner for hurting her as it has resulted in her going to the singer – Lewis. The pain she suffered has helped her grow and see a true man.”
9. Before You Go (Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, 2019)
“The lyrical message is about a aftermath of a suicide/death in which Lewis shows regret and reflection upon possibly causing it and it showcases a lot of deep meaning and good construction to the songwriting with the sweeping acoustic guitars and stomping drums makes for a good and interesting composition and it helps to support the songwriting and convey a thick and intense atmosphere to the song.”
8. Headspace (Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, 2019)
“This is the most heartfelt deepest cutting song I’ve ever heard.. Lewis this is by far your best work the rawness of the lyrics are compelling and you have touched nerves I never knew could be touched you take me to a place that’s so dark and one that’s never been unlocked until now”
7. Lost on You (Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, 2019)
“For anyone that has ever been in a toxic relationship.. this song is an anthem.. especially if you truly loved them and hung on till you bled. And knew if you didn’t walk away.. you would lose your life in the fray”

5. Forever (Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, 2019)
“When you lost someone then you hear this song, out of nowhere you miss them, wish you could have talked more, laughed more… But you just can’t get them anyhow, they are gone forever…..”
4. Hold Me While You Wait (Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, 2019)
“It’s weird: this song was originally about a man trying desperately to keep his relationship with a woman when she suddenly became unsure if she wanted to still be with him after building something together. But people have taken it to mean so many other expressions of anguish and pain and hope, including me.”

3. Someone You Loved (Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, 2019)
“A song that is truly hated but I like it. Why? Because it makes me cry. It makes me feel the emotions I usually keep buried deep inside. It’s cathartic and I can feel his pain and relate because I’ve been through it. Is it a particularly amazing piece of songwriting? No but it does it’s job well.”
2. Bruises (Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, 2019)
“I love Lewis Capaldi for his vulnerability. He doesn’t just sing he tells a story. You can tell most of his songs were birthed out of pain and it’s just wow”
1. Grace (Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, 2019)
“The secret here is the video has deep meaning. The meaning is that he was so lost he would do anything for the girl. By anything that includes covering her shift stripping even if he looks like a fool. The song is a reflection on the behavior he displays in the video.”
