Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys share final single ‘Damp’ ahead of ‘Pale Bloom’
Berlin-based art-rock collective Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys have released ‘Damp’, the final preview of their upcoming album Pale Bloom, arriving February 13th via Unique Records.
Originally written as a sparse acoustic piece, ‘Damp’ was later transformed by guitarist Liú Mottes into a slow-burning, emotionally layered track. Anchored by a steady pulse and interwoven with subdued viola and ambient textures, the song reflects on emotional restraint and the quiet tension between longing and silence. Kruger’s lyrics explore the challenge of vulnerability, particularly the hesitation to speak our truths out of fear of seeming too exposed.
Accompanied by a minimalist video from DTAN and Gaussian Studios, ‘Damp’ captures an atmosphere where stillness and intensity coexist. It’s a haunting, unresolved moment that stays with you long after the final note.
Pale Bloom was recorded across Berlin studios with longtime collaborator André Leo and mixed by Simon Ratcliffe. The group will tour the UK in spring 2026, with dates in Manchester, Birmingham, London, Brighton, and Bristol.
