Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys unveil haunting new single ‘Anchor’ ahead of sixth album Pale Bloom
Following the release of ‘Reaching’ and their debut UK tour earlier this year, Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys return with new single ‘Anchor’, the first from their forthcoming sixth studio album Pale Bloom (due February 2026).
Blending fragile nostalgia with sonic unease, Anchor finds Kruger merging childhood melodies with the weight of adulthood yearning. With soft, staccato vocals and searing guitar woven through exhaling viola, the track explores the tension between safety and surrender. A stark visual by long-time collaborators DTAN, Kruger tenderly un-devouring a pale white rose, mirrors the song’s themes of undoing and reassembly.
A stirring introduction to Pale Bloom, ‘Anchor’ marks a powerful new chapter for the Berlin-based avant-garde ensemble.
