M. Woodroe channel grunge and post-punk in new single ‘Fog of War’
Brighton four-piece M. Woodroe unveil ‘Fog of War’, the latest single from Emerging Volume V, the upcoming compilation by Small Pond Records (out November 14th). Fusing post-hardcore grit with the swirling textures of Britpop and post-punk, the track explores themes of lust and shame through a haze of distortion and tension.
Part of Small Pond’s Emerging Artists initiative, funded by Arts Council England, the release features 20 young acts from Brighton, Crawley, and the surrounding areas. A launch event takes place at Brighton’s Green Door Store on November 15th, with performances from M. Woodroe, Had Sandy, and Sick-Days.
