MANA return with their new single ‘Junkyard of Trivialities’
Berlin-based post-punk outfit MANA return with their new single ‘Junkyard of Trivialities’—a brooding, high-octane track that merges the intensity of post-punk with the vibrant pulse of new wave. Led by frontman Greg Clifford, the trio dives deep into the chaos of modern life with a sound that’s both familiar and freshly urgent.
From the first beat, ‘Junkyard of Trivialities’ delivers MANA’s signature mix of moody atmospherics and propulsive energy. Shane Byrne’s piercing guitar lines and Niclas Liebling’s driving bass create a tense undercurrent, while Clifford’s vocals cut through with raw emotion and philosophical bite.
“This song is essentially about being on the ropes but not throwing in the towel,” says Clifford. “It was born out of the fragmented, polarised age we reside in. In times of unrest, prejudice and evil, we must create and fight the good fight. Junkyard is our attempt to make sense of the world—a cry for inner peace, a pushback against the forces that try to extinguish illumination.”
