Maz & The Phantasms confront modern damnation on blistering new single ‘Factory Hell’

Maz & The Phantasms return with ‘Factory Hell’, a searing indictment of industrial farming and the first glimpse of their upcoming EP set for release this September. Fusing Rage Against The Machine’s political bite with the band’s own brand of “continental synth surf,” the track thrashes through sci-fi synths, distorted guitar riffs, and pummeling drums—painting a dystopian vision that’s all too real.

“Factory Hell is our take on modern damnation,” says frontman Maz. “Growing up religious, I was always intrigued by depictions of hell—places of endless torment. Factory farming feels like the closest thing to that today. It’s a cycle of mechanised cruelty, where flesh meets machinery in a way that’s deeply unsettling.”

With its furious energy and uncompromising message, ‘Factory Hell’ is a warning siren from a band unafraid to look darkness in the eye.
