10. Luna (Blood Moon, 2021)
“I think this is awesome! on first listen this is one of my fav BG choruses of the year.
Hard agree that the verses could use a punch up. I feel very cynical in that my first reaction to the opening instrumental was “sounds like a splice loop” not “sounds like traditional instrumentation”….”
9. Only One (BLACK MIRROR, 2021)
“This is absolutely amazing. I love the chord progression, it feels fresh. The production also sounds so clean! The synth bass is so sick and I love the consistent beat. I’m not too interested in the vocals, but I honestly don’t care because the instrumental is so damn good.”
8. Life Is Beautiful (Life Is Beautiful, 2021)
“I am going to call this one a mid-tempo sentimental fan service song, and move on. Its not the song, its not the group, its me. It’s the nth song I have heard that is all warm and comforting, sentimental, fine performance, and expected chord progressions, and nothing out of place. It isn’t music that colors outside any lines or takes any chances.”

7. Shut Up 받고 Crazy Hot! (Blood Moon, 2021)
“I think the song is best when it doesn’t abandon the energy, which happens at least twice. Despite that, there’s so much flair from the piano, the various layered parts, the bursts of synths at times. The chorus is also decent even if it is carried by that nice piano loop. I like it, it’s theatrical enough that I can forgive the two bad parts.”
6. Black Mirror (BINARY CODE, 2021)
“Love to hear Leedo singing more and I am glad to see that their producing team realized you can slot in a rap section without killing the energy and throwing in a random splash of trap. That was the thing I was hesitantly waiting for but they pulled the song off without a hitch.”
5. No Diggity (DEVIL, 2021)
“Wow, that prechorus! It’s phenomenal, reminds me of BIGBANG. The vocalist does a great job on it as well, and the rock guitar is one of my favourite musical things, so I’m sold. The drop in comparison is far too empty.”

4. BBUSYEO ( BBUSYEO, 2020)
“This is probably my favorite ONEUS title track so far. As much as I appreciate the dramatic and theatric concept they’ve been going with, a high energy pop song is exactly what I need right now.”
3. To Be Or Not To Be (LIVED, 2020)
“Everything about this song is amazing…except for that ghastly trap breakdown. It has everything I love about K-pop: bombastic composition, interesting soundscape, with some unique element that makes the song stand out–the vocoder in this case. That trap breakdown is the only snag in what is otherwise a 10/10 for me. “
2. Come Back Home (LIVED, 2020)
“I am actually one of the few people who really enjoyed this song, and who DIDN’T particularly enjoy ONEUS on the show itself haha. Their stages left me mostly underwhelmed but I really enjoy this song’s drama.”
1. A Song Written Easily (IN ITS TIME, 2020)
“I swear this sounds so 2019. The crazy thing is that right about now, all cooped up on a rainy day, 2019 light hearted tropical is a good thing. Way better than another dark theme. The video looks like it was shot a month or three ago (I mean, who is flying anywhere right now), so maybe it is 2019.”
