10. Sukhumvit Swimming (Spin Off, 2020)

“I actually really like this. I initially didn’t think much of it on first listen but the more I listen to it the better it gets! The chorus has a way of just sneaking up on you. I just love their layered vocals so much.”

9. Ugly Dance (ONF: My Name, 2021)

“All the songs that were added to their repackage have been added onto my playlist. Absolutely amazing. Ugh the guitar in my genesis is to die for. And the transition to softer jazzy tones from the guitar- I love.”

8. Why (Go Live, 2019)

“I’m loving this song so far. The melodies are tight and well-constructed in the way melodies used to be before edm and trap became the new buzzwords, the synth work is exciting, and I love the way drumbeat falls heavily on every beat of the chorus – perfect headbang material.”

7. Goosebumps (6TH MINI ALBUM [Goosebumps], 2021)

“The beat is out of control and exemplifies the power of ONF and Hwang Hyun’s collaboration. Curious what/with you he’ll be working on during ONF’s enlistment. This song flies by you, but it’s a jolt of fun. On first listen, I was surprised when it ended because of its experimental structure.”

6. We Must Love (We Must Love, 2019)

“The high note was incredible, and it adds some heft to a song that feels incredibly light and short. I honestly could do without the post-chorus synths as well; they seem like a safe end route to a chorus that really could’ve benefited from being more daring, and they definitely sound like something we’ve already heard thousands of times.”

5. Popping (SUMMER POPUP ALBUM [POPPING], 2021)

“Popping is an incredible song, encapsulating ONF’s giddy charms in a taut, euphoric package. Fizzy Rhythm Guitar abound! Punctuating Electronic instrumentals! and some delicious hooks and melodies! It’s all produced and performed to perfection.”

4. On/Off (On/Off, 2017)

“ONF has a lot of promise and I really like the spaceship concept and the different path the song takes from the usual trendy sound deviating slowly then suddenly going into a section that sounds like it came from EXO’s Exodus”

3. New World (Spin Off, 2020)

“t’s their first song to reach the top 200 on gaon. I’m so glad that it happened with a song like this instead of something like OMG’s nonstop. You should totally treat the song as a title track. It’s such a clear standout from this year of duds.”

2. Beautiful Beautiful (ONF: My Name, 2021)

“I love the bridge and the acapella part. The whole song smashes, I’ve just had on repeat this morning. I do think the bridges and verses are slightly stronger than the chorus, but there’s nothing wrong with the chorus. that’s the part that’s been growing on me with each listens.”

1. Complete (You Complete Me, 2018)

“Complete is no doubt one of the best modern k-pop songs ever, It makes use of a crisp vocal arrangement, big budget production and some of the most dynamic hooks in k-pop! This song was a guilty pleasure all that summer.”
