Pentire return with shimmering anthem ‘Boy In The Machine’

Bristol indie-rock outfit Pentire have launched into 2026 with their propulsive new single ‘Boy In The Machine’. Balancing cinematic textures with restless energy, the track channels the claustrophobia of conformity, and the defiant impulse to escape it.

“This song is about feeling boxed in and wanting to break out,” says frontman Jack, as the band continues to explore themes of rebellion, identity, and self-determination.

Arriving off the back of their Love on TV EP and breakout tracks ‘Spinning’ and ‘Give Me A Reason’, ‘Boy In The Machine’ marks another bold step forward for a band quickly building momentum. With over 100k Spotify monthly listeners, 10 million social views, and support from BBC Radio 1, Clash Magazine, and Radio X, Pentire are poised for a breakthrough year.
