Peter Landi channels cosmic nostalgia on psychedelic alt-rock single ‘Dandelion’
Toronto-based alt-rock artist Peter Landi returns with ‘Dandelion’, a sun-soaked swirl of psych-pop textures and ‘80s-inspired tones. Layering chorus-soaked guitars and soaring drums, the track blends dreamy atmospherics with sharp melodic instincts, evoking the haze of summer memories and altered states of mind.
Inspired by a spontaneous creative spark, a single word found in a book picked up from a local free library, Landi chased the imagery of nature, consciousness, and emotional residue. “‘Dandelion, I miss you all the time’ was the first line I sang,” he recalls, marking the moment the song took shape.
As the track builds toward its final chorus, Landi pushes the production into full-on psychedelic territory. “Every section of the song is happening all at once,” he explains. “It’s meant to feel like the peak of a trip — chaotic, euphoric, and cosmic, before it suddenly dissolves.”
