10. She’s Only Happy When She’s Dancin’

“She’s Only Happy when She’s Dancin’ is a nice little country influenced song. Again, very catchy, but rocks hard enough to keep me entertained.”

9. Ain’t Gonna Cry

“Ain’t Gonna Cry is a track full of vigor, very rock and roll and dizzying. Nothing stops the composer in this absolutely perfect ending. Everything is simple and perfect and all musicians, specially Keith Scott guitars.”

8. Long Gone

“Long Gone might be a little sexist, but this pseudo blues rock gem perfectly fits Bryan Adams’ mood. If you’re going to listen to one pop rock album in your lifetime, make it this album. It’s incredibly consistent, incredibly catchy, and also rocks pretty hard in places.

7. Somebody

“Somebody, like Paradise City (Guns N Roses), was created to please the packed stadiums, those echoes, unforgettable choruses and the epic finale just make things inevitable. But above all, a perfect hard rock song.”

6. Kids Wanna Rock

“Kids Wanna Rock is pure hard rock, with simple and direct lyrics. Well, Bryan Adams proved that it was possible to go against the tide and sing rock for the general public, when at that time synthesizers, new wave and neo romanticism prevailed.”

5. One Night Love Affair

“One Night Love Affair opens the album effectively, in a pop rock subject with Def Leppard delusions (a little, not a lot). Just about everything on this one was a hit. All prime examples of quality power pop. THe hipsters and pimply-faced punks hate him because he’s ultra-successful. He’s contemporary. He’s poppy. Too many teenage girls like his music.”

4. It’s Only Love

“The duet with the great diva Tina Turner proved that different generations can give small miracles: It’s Only Love is proof that Tina Turner still had a lot to give and wasn’t forgotten like everyone thought.”

3. Run to You

“It’s incredible how many times Run to You has already aired on radio, MTV and VH1. A universal song with simple but contagious lyrics. The intro is rocking. Just about everything on this one was a hit. All prime examples of quality power pop. THe hipsters and pimply-faced punks hate him because he’s ultra-successful.”

2. Heaven

“Heaven is a well-constructed power ballad, with brilliant moments from the keyboardist. Irresistible. Bryan Adams is the dude of Rock and Roll. He has a power voice that is so amazing. Reckless is such an awsome album. Every song does him justice. “Heaven” is my favorite out of the whole album.”

1. Summer of ’69

“Summer of ’69, a true anthem that leaves no one indifferent. The lyrics are very well built, the layers that support it reinforce what is best and irresistible in a pop rock theme that is easy to get into our ears.”
